A Day Reflection
The Day of Private Reflection on 21 June is a day to acknowledge the deep hurt and pain caused by the conflict, to reflect on our own attitudes, on what more we might have done or might still do, and to make a personal commitment that such loss should never be allowed to happen again. This follows positive evaluations of the Day of Private Reflection held each year since 2007.
The Day of Private Reflection is widely supported by various community and voluntary groups, churches, businesses and individuals. The Day of Private Reflection has been evaluated annually to help assess whether further days of reflection should be held. Following positive evaluations it was decided that the Private Day of Reflection should continue.
To coincide with the Day of Private Reflection, Fírinne hold an annual BBQ/Family Fun Day to bring everyone together on this special day.
